The Physician
I am a board-certified psychiatrist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. My clinical work centers on physician well-being through Stanford's WellConnect program, and I am on the Advisory Board for Bellevue Literary Press and the Oxford Review of Books x Stanford.
My training began at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where I earned my MD and I completed my psychiatry residency at Stanford.
Alongside my clinical practice, I have dedicated much of my career to the intersection of medicine and the literary arts. I am the director of the Pegasus Physician Writers, a creative writing and publication program within Stanford's Medical Humanities and the Arts and founded The Pegasus Review. I am a co-founder and literary agent at Hesperides Literary, and bring years of editorial and advisory experience to writers navigating the path toward publication.
